QualaWash Environmental Compliance Program

QualaWash has committed the necessary resources to protect the environment and comply with all applicable environmental laws, regulations, permits and agreements.  We evaluate compliance with applicable environmental laws and regulations on a routine basis through internal compliance self audits.  We reduce environmental risks through operating practices and emergency preparedness programs.  All terminal personnel are trained annually in RCRA hazardous waste regulations. 

QualaWash minimizes waste by utilizing a heels management program which returns heel to the customer as a product or is reused by the facility whenever possible.  If the product cannot be returned or reused on site, the material will be managed as a solid waste by a RCRA trained employee.  Segregating hazardous and non-hazardous waste streams minimize the amount of hazardous waste generated.  Used oil and universal wastes are collected and recycled according to regulations.
